~About Pixelart ~

It's the art of overcoming limitations. At least, if we consider pixelart in its traditional sense, stemming from a time when computers only had enough power to show a very small amount of digital squares...! And not just pixels: many systems only could show a few colors. This means pixelart could be a challenge, as moving just one pixel can completely change the image!

Nowadays it's mostly just a stylistic choice, and artists have complete freedom in choosing limitations. The visible pixels can give art a retro or often even cutesy look, all while reminding us of... simpler times! (literally.)
